Watching the recent Palin interview on CNN it occurred to me the biggest reason that Mccain cannot seem to make inroads with the electorate: The republican message is a broken fucking record. Over and over again, they say the same things – and after 30 years they’ve pretty much become meaningless.
Lower taxes.
Republicans “Let” Americans keep more of what they earn.
Democrats “Take” from Americans.
Government get out of the way of business.
Government get off of the backs of the people.
Capitalism good. Everything else, bad.
Hey Republicans, guess what – you’ve been preaching this same shit for decades, you’ve had the Whitehouse for 8 years, the congress and senate for 6 of those years, AND WHERE ARE WE NOW? Your entire message is essentially “Business should have a free-for-all and government is in the way.” Rather than talk about what you’re going to do to fix a broken system, you keep talking about the same_stale_shit_ that you’ve been talking about for decades. It’s like the present doesn’t even exist.
Over and over and over the broken record keeps repeating itself. And you wonder why you’re becoming irrelevant?
